In the Spring semester, the petrology class takes a trip to the Llano Uplift area of Central Texas. We make sure to stop at Cooper's BBQ and go to the German restaurants in Fredericksburg. There are sedimentary features such as mudcracks and ripple marks, intrusive bodies like Enchanted Rock, and metamorphic deformation. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
